The York Wedding Harpist
The York Wedding Harpist graduated from the Royal Northern College of Music in 2011 after attending Chetham’s School of Music and performs across the North of England.
Her extremely varied repertoire includes popular classics from the charts and musical theatre, a sprinkling of Disney and folk tunes, as well as classical and Bollywood repertoire.
The York Wedding Harpist plays with several orchestras and is a founder member of a Harp Quartet. She teaches the harp and the piano privately at home.
Notable venues in which she has performed at are the Bridgewater Hall in Manchester, York Minster, as well as the Natural History Museum and The Barbican in London.
The York Wedding Harpist has also played for Prince Charles as part of his 60th Birthday celebrations and been onstage supporting Idina Menzel in Manchester’s Palace Theatre.
She provides background music for weddings, funerals and corporate functions.

The harpist helped our 50 Wedding Anniversary to be such a success. She arrived and quietly set up her harp without any fuss and likewise did the same at the end of her performance. The music was lovely and was very much appreciated by all of our guests. I can thoroughly recommend her and would have no hesitation in having her play for me in the future.

She played at my son's wedding. Given her training and background it was in no doubt that she would be able to play. Her wedding music was indeed delightful. A number of guests commented on how inspired it was to have hired a harpist because her playing was beautiful and relaxing and filled the air without being over powering. (It wasn't really my idea though. I saw from the wedding venue site that others had employed a harpist!) Additionally, Dealing with her was simple and straightforward. I would recommend her to everyone. Even my dad was impressed.
