The Blues has deep roots in American history and originated on Southern plantations in the 19th Century by African-Americans. Its inventors were the slaves who sang as they toiled in the cotton and vegetable fields and the rhythm of Blues has been past on through generations.

The Blues was massive in the Mississippi Delta, close to New Orleans, the birthplace of Jazz. As people started to leave the southern states in the early 20th century, they took the Blues with them to Northern cities like Chicago when it developed into electric Blues. With the influence of the Northern States, the birth of the electric guitar and the introduction of rock tones, rhythm and blues was born.

We provide Blues bands for a range of events and functions including corporate events, restaurant and bar bookings and special Birthdays and anniversaries. Our Blues bands and Blues musicians have the ability to transport your guests and create the atmosphere of a smokey back street Blues bar with their skill, passion and unique sounds.

All of our Blues Bands are professional and come with their own equipment and amplification. Browse our brilliant acts and enquire today!
