She studied at the highly acclaimed Chetham’s School of Music and won her first music festival competition at the age of 10. At 15 she performed her first concerto and at 16 made her professional concert debut at the former Freetrade Hall in Manchester.

Since 1989, The Lancashire Bollywood Harpist has pursued a busy freelance career with some of the UK’s leading Symphony, Opera and Ballet Orchestras including the Halle, BBC Philharmonic, Opera North, National Symphony Orchestra, Moscow City Ballet, English National Ballet, City Ballet of London and Saint Petersburg Ballet.

She has also pursued a solo career performing concertos and recitals, has entertained Royalty, and worked with a range of celebrities as diverse as tenor Russell Watson and rapper Kanye West.

She particularly enjoys adding the beauty of the harp to private performances such as weddings, birthdays and corporate events.
