The Lake District Harpist - Harpist

The Lake District harpist graduated from the University of Leeds with BA (Hons) Music Theatre in July 2005, and gained an MA at Liverpool Institute of Performing Arts in 2009.

Musically the harp has been her great love since the age of eight, and she perform regularly on both the Clarsach and the Concert harp.

She have provided the music for many weddings, and played background music in local hotels for the last few years. Some of these venues include, Durham Cathedral, Alnwick Castle Gardens and the Yorkshire Sculpture Park.

She is also an accomplished dancer, choreographer and teacher and have worked in collaboration with actors, musicians and dancers on a wide variety of arts projects.

The Lake District harpist plays a beautiful golden Delbeau Grecian Antique harp which is has been carefully restored to its former glory. It has a gentle mellow tone perfect for weddings and special occasions.

The harp is portable and can be moved to various locations where necessary such as an outside terrace or garden for your drinks reception.
