The Dorset Wedding String Quartet - String Quartet & Trio
The Dorset Wedding String Quartet are a vibrant, professional string quartet based in Dorset who have played at over 600 weddings and events since 2005.
They are proud to have partnered with Candlelight Concerts by Fever and corporate entertainment clients include FORD, Carnival Cruises, John Lewis and HSBC.
As individuals, the members of The Dorset Wedding String Quartet attended the top London Music Colleges, have recorded and worked with acts such as Girls Aloud, Jamiroquai and One Direction, and have played with orchestras such as the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra, Bournemouth Symphony Orchestra, and the Auckland Chamber Orchestra, New Zealand.
The Dorset Wedding String Quartet have played at hundreds of weddings, and know that everything needs to be perfect.
A typical wedding booking would be to play for 30 minutes pre ceremony to welcome your guests to your big day, creating a lovely mood for the whole day.
This is followed by playing for the entrance of the bride, the signing of the register (normally there’s time for 2-3 pieces here) and the exit of the couple.
This would be followed by music during the drinks reception for one to one and a half hours.
