The West Sussex String Quartet
This Sussex string quartet is an ensemble of professional musicians with the experience to create a unique atmosphere for your event with a piano trio option.
With a varied selection of repertoire (Mozart to Abba, Pachelbel to Queen), the string quartet is ideal for wedding ceremonies, receptions, dinners, product launches, military and mess gatherings, birthday and anniversary celebrations. The quartet is very manoeuvrable and can be used for occasions requiring rotational music. If a particular piece of music is required, then we will be pleased to arrange it for you given enough notice. A small charge may be required to cover arrangement fees. However Hymns for wedding services, military marches for regimental mess dinners and national anthems for official toasts are provided completely free of charge.
A number of the musicians have performed across Europe & America and have provided music for members of the Royal Family, US Presidents, Prime Ministers, Politicians and Celebrities. The Quartet is also the preferred Quartet for a growing number of prestigious venues in Hampshire, Dorset, Surrey, Sussex and many other counties within the south of England.
Regularly performing at: Chewton Glen, Careys Manor & Rhinefield House (New Forest), Lainston House (Winchester), New Place (Southampton), Manor Barn & Tithe Barn (Petersfield), HMS Warrior & HMS Victory (Portsmouth), Goodwood House (West Sussex) and many more historic venues & hotels.
The quartet have also recorded tracks with a number of pop bands, performed newly commissioned works, featured in a number of television documentaries and even appeared in a film!
