Gus Roberts - Classical Guitarist

This classical guitarist is based in Suffolk and is available for recitals, weddings and functions.

He plays a varied repertoire ranging from relaxing classics to Spanish fireworks, and will add a touch of class to any occasion whether the need is background music for a wedding or private function, or indeed a classical recital. He has proved a popular choice for wedding receptions, especially the more intimate occasions, although he plays with discrete amplification if the venue requires this.

His classical repertoire spans 4 centuries and also includes popular classics such as Cavatina, Spanish Romance and arrangements of songs by artists such as the Beatles.

Examples of events and venues include:
Lunchtime recitals at St. Martin in the Fields; St. James's Church Piccadilly; Sherringham Theatre; St. Mary Le Tower, Ipswich; opening evening of the Ipswich Arts Festival 2006 (gala occasion attended by the Mayor of Ipswich), and other special occasions and business recognition events.

As part of a duo he plays a regular recital programme including lunchtime recitals at the Ipswich Art Festival (2006), Long Melford Church recital series, Ofton Church 'Magical Musical Moments' (evening recital that raised over £1000 pounds for local charity), Ipswich Methodist church evening recital, numerous private functions including a Cambridge college dinner, a major Art exhibition private view in Newmarket, and other special occasions and business recognition events.

You were superb ... you ticked all our boxes ...so much so, we bought Spanish Guitar CD's for all our family for Christmas as they are all now converts

Stuart and Diane,

Hello Geoff, My party on 27 July was a great success, helped by the guitarist, who was punctual, smart, extremely courteous and played beautifully. We were sorry to see him go! I did find your booking process straightforward, with good, fast communication and would definitely use your services again. Kind regards
