Barney Knight - Spanish Guitarist

Classical and Flamenco Guitarist covering Suffolk, Norfolk and Essex.

This guitarist has been playing for many years and has performed in all the usual range of events. ie weddings, christenings, dinner parties, small concerts, larger stage events, receptions and promotions etc.

For some years he was the accompanist for Flamenco dancer "la Palomilla", and his flamenco repertoire stems largely from that period. The pieces listed in the flamenco repertoire are named after dance types, but have been adapted to create performance solos to be enjoyed in their own right, rather than just dance accompaniments.

He returned to England quite recently after a period living in Auckland, New Zealand which has a very lively musical scene. Here he regularly gave concerts, performed for corporate events such as the large VIP reception hosted by the massive West Pacific Banking Corporation, and played for a private party in the now internationally known "Khuja Lounge". The performances well were received, and his professional approach and ability to suit the performance to the requirements of the venue were commented on.
