The Birmingham Wedding Harpist has a wealth of knowledge and experience in performance and a constantly updated repertoire. She plays a range of stunning harps which will add elegance and beautiful music to your event from full size concert harp to celtic harp.
The Birmingham Wedding Harpist has been a full time professional musician all of her working life and has played the harp since childhood. She has built up an excellent working relationship with the registrars and hotels in the Midlands and is known and recommended by many of them.
Appointments are offered prior to the event if required.
The Birmingham Wedding Harpist studied at the Royal College of Music and on qualifying was appointed Principal Harp with the BBC Northern Ireland Orchestra and Ulster Orchestras.
After six years in Northern Ireland, The Birmingham Wedding Harpist moved to the Midlands to freelance with many of the major symphony orchestras. She was also the first call harpist with the Royal Shakespeare Company and Birmingham Opera Company.
In recent years she has focused on solo playing and is in demand for Weddings and Corporate work. Her engagements have included playing for royalty and celebrities. She regularly plays at prestigious hotels in the Midlands including Coombe Abbey, Nailcote Hall, and Ettington Park hotels.
