Spirit of Ireland - Irish Band
Spirit of Ireland is a Bedford-based lively Irish band of three classically trained multi-instrumentalists, offering classical singing as well as folk, covers and ceilidh music. They are formed of 2 sisters, whose father is from Belfast, and John who is from Dublin.
The sisters have been playing and singing Irish music together (fiddle, whistles and vocals) since they were children, and were thrilled to join in with larger groups when they started joining John (guitar, percussion and vocals) at trad Irish sessions at local pubs, followed by their own trio gigs at pubs, clubs, village fetes, festivals and weddings.
They love to see people enjoying their music, singing along and even breaking out those Irish dancing moves!
The sisters are also prolific classical singers with extensive experience singing in choral groups, operas, recitals and wedding ceremonies across the country and beyond.
Spirit of Ireland would love to create a tailored musical package for any occasion.
