Alan Ernst - Swing Singer Feedback

Sorry for the late review (Honeymoon)! He was perfect for my wedding and I am so glad we chose him as I could not imagine my day without him now. After we read ALL the reviews and listened to all the songs, a quick phonecall to speak to him had us 100% satisfied that we had found our singer. He did not disappoint at all and wowed our guests and ourselves on the night, singing our songs perfectly. What I also liked was that he didn't fill the time with jokes or stories and he didn't pick on anyone or make them feel uncomfortable in any way, he just sang perfectly. He was very polite and approachable and even danced amongst us whilst singing! Everyone had a great time and I'm certain we'll be seeing him again sometime. He comes very highly recommended from me and my husband x

It was with great pleasure that I found myself listening to his "Rich Tones" at my brothers 40th Wedding Anniversary on Saturday and I feel compelled to report back on my experience. To say he has the best voice I have heard would be a bold (under)statement. I Have, in my (many) years, heard a multitude of styles from countless bands and singers from the length and breadth of the country and beyond, so I can say with educated experience that I regard him as one of the best around that you will hear today. His diction is clear and precise, his timing perfect, his tone faultless and his character is remarkable. His interpretation and deliverance is uncannily similar and sympathetic to those he aims to recreate. There are so many (as Jeffery Willoughby rightly said) who claim to be the best in the business or the UK's Number 1, who clearly haven't taken the time to listen to anyone but themselves. He hasn't made these claims - he doesn't need to. The audience and people are the only ones who can rightly make those claims and it seems that those who have been privileged to hear him agree that he is unrivalled in his genre. It's only by meeting and experiencing this extraordinary gentleman that you will appreciate the true beauty of what he has to offer.

He entertained us yesterday at our presentation evening and gave us a wonderful evening of refined pleasure, in equally wonderful surroundings. A lovely relaxed meal time presentation of subtle Sinatra classics, with a hint of Matt Monro to start with. Waiting until everyone had finished and their lunches settled, he then turned up the heat to reward us all with some fantastic dance numbers. The drinks flowed, the people danced (old & young) and that wonderful voice just kept going. A great time was had by all. Thank you

He is the 'Muhammad Ali' of Swing Singers. The untouchable King of the Swing Ring with a knockout performance! He did a superb job for our anniversary, with every one of our guests having a very enjoyable and memorable evening. No hesitation in recommending at all.

We first stumbled across this talented singer last November and it was an absolute pleasure to invite him back to sing at a special birthday / anniversary party this weekend. He's a true professional with a wonderful voice that appeals to young and old. My 2 1/2 year old niece loved him and keeps asking where 'the singing man' has gone. Looking forward to finding another reason to hire him again :) Thanks x

Top man. Absolutely delighted with my booking! Cannot thank him enough for an amazing night of class and entertainment. Looks the part, acts the part, sounds the part - the Real Deal! As a family of big Sinatra and Jazz/Pop fans, we all agree he is one of the best we've seen and heard. His voice is really suited to it and has that undertone to make it very enjoyable indeed. His Dean Martin songs are up there too (Everybody Loves Somebody - fantastic)! Favourites of the evening were Come Fly With Me, Lady is a Tramp, Leroy Brown and That's Life! (They've always been my favourites as my dad will tell you). I wouldn't hesitate to recommend and book again. Don't hesitate to book!

Frankie xx,

Speechless. Literally. Shocked us all when he started to sing, amazed us by what he sang and then entertained us through the night. Superb rendition of Sinatra classics and finished the night with a good old knees up with some pop songs. Perfect night, highly recommended for anyone who enjoys a great voice.

He was an amazing performer and was the perfect choice for 50th wedding anniversary celebrations this weekend. Great repertoire and a singing voice to die for! I would highly recommend him for any event large or small.

Gail Brogan, Stretton House, (September, 2015)

He gave an amazing performance at both my hen do and wedding reception. All the guests enjoyed his singing and bits of comedy. He even prepared a song playlist for us to play in between his sets. We're so grateful for the fantastic entertainment he brought to our events! I'd recommend him for any kind of event, whether it's a chilled sit down meal or the kind party where everyone dances like crabs.

Mair Bain, Darley Abbey Park Rowing Club, (January, 2016)

LOVE IT MY BROTHER, listening to your music gets me excited for my favorite place....VEGAS!!!! Going in April for the NAB and an Avid/Pro tools workshop, and I can't wait. Again DIG YOUR STYLE, please keep it up!

Kamshron,

2 great sounds, 1 amazing voice! He kept everyone singing and dancing all night with all the favourites from Frank and Dean, as well as some more modern songs to complete the night. So lovely to listen to - definitely 'refreshing' and definitely 'authentic' :) We will most certainly be seeing him again soon! Thank you :) x

Gina Sajan,

All the classics perfectly delivered (Everybody loves somebody sometimes - outstanding). For Sinatra & Martin, he is your man. The style, the mannerisms and, most importantly, the sound! My brother and I spent 2 days looking for the right singer for mum and dads anniversary and we both said yes the first time we heard him, so I rang and had booked him within 5 minutes! He really made the evening and was so polite and easy to get on with. He made everyone feel comfortable and created a lovely relaxed atmosphere that we could all enjoy throughout the night. A very charming man, with a very lovely voice - he will definitely be back for Christmas xx
