Lucy Fennick - Harpist
When asked the question 'what made you begin the harp?', she always think back to when she was a little girl of seven. She remember watching the BBC Proms on the television and being captivated by the charm of the instrument. She was lucky enough to have fantastic, supportive parents with a large car! Consequently, she have spent her life so far, studying, practicing and genuinely loving everything about the harp and the world of music.
After initially learning with local professional harpists Stewart Green and then Brian Davis, she moved to London where she studied amongst harpists such as Charlotte Seale, (principal Harpist with the BBC Northern Radio Orchestra for eight years), Imogen Barford, (Philharmonia and the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra) and Sioned Williams, (BBC Symphony Orchestra).
Since returning to Norfolk, she have enjoyed the wide variety of the music world, from orchestral playing, solo performances, teaching, session work and composition.

Lucy Fennick - Harpist Feedback
“It was everything we wish for, the harp performance created a fantastic atmosphere for our daughter’s wedding playing all her favourite songs. Thank you so much. xxx
”
“Thank you for a wonderful evening of your fabulous music. The harp is a lovely instrument which is not intrusive but gives these wonderful melodies in the background and you are a great performer who was very sensitive to our needs.
”
“Just a note to say how pleased we were with the music that you played so beautifully at our wedding.
After initially meeting with you to discuss 'the harp' for our special day, and with your knowledge and
help to suggest potential music choices for us, confirmation of the details was quick, easy and efficient.
The final music choices and details were agreed without any fuss, giving us maximum confidence in our
decision. lt was one thing we did not need to think about any further on the day.
”
