The Newcastle Solo Singer is an international solo vocalist with an impeccable natural talent and all-round acumen for performing on stage. With a gifted versatility, she is able to merge musical styles, bringing soul, jazz, classical and pop numbers to her expert sets.
A truly distinguished solo artist, The Newcastle Solo Singer is at one with an audience from the moment she sets her lips to the mic.
She is a genuine and intoxicating musical aficionado, able to command a room with a fiery stage presence and impactful vocals.
With a vocal range that beggars belief and a natural flair for performing, The Newcastle Solo Singer turns heads. With an outright aptness, she has proven to be the ideal entertainer for charity events, corporate events, award ceremonies, concerts, cruise ships, private functions, weddings and other special occasions.
Her glittering career as a solo vocalist truly took off when performing cabaret across Europe and at sea on cruise ships. She graced the stages of P&O aboard the Arcadia and The Oceana, cruising around Canada, South Africa and the Norwegian fjords.
The Newcastle Solo Singer has been delighted to have performed in her own shows in theatres across the country including the iconic Sage Gateshead as well as The Whitley Bay Playhouse, the Gala Durham and more recently the Customs House South Shields.
She is able to create and support in the delivery of memorable moments for milestone occasions. Her years of experience at the top level as a prominent professional singer have provided her with a loyal following and a host of hits that she is able to perform.
More recently her natural wit and humour have seen her introduce a measure of comedy into her act and in her Christmas show at the Sage Gateshead she debuted her ventriloquism skills as she introduced Doris the Orangutan to the audience!
The Newcastle Solo Singer can perform as a soloist to great effect and utilises a sound and lighting system of the highest standard. She is also able to collaborate with a hugely talented and full live band to accentuate her stunning vocals.
As a solo artist, she supports her local community, delivering workshops and assisting local musicians in recording original material. Having already recorded albums covering a variety of arrangements of popular hits in her own inimitable style, she is now working on an album of original material. One song from this album has already been released as a charity single. In 2021 she collaborated with African star Flavour in the production of another charity single ‘She’s One in a Million’ Her sensational performances never fail to entertain her audiences, whether it is playing in front of thousands at Sunderland’s, Stadium of Light, singing at an intimate jazz gig, or performing in her own theatre shows.
