Inspired by a multitude of musical genres and artists, this Surrey/Hampshire based duo create an unforgettable sound experience using nothing but the pure and often raw sound of acoustic guitar and vocals - simple, melodic, unplugged.

They are an acoustic duo made up of guitar and lead/backing vocals. Certainly not to be described as background music, but also not the 'full-on' dance beat of a band with drums/percussion. Whilst they do welcome people dancing to our music, it is more usual to find people watching and singing along to a repertoire of well known anthems. Before booking this act, we want to be sure this is what you want to create for your event. If it is, I'm sure you'll find the quality of the music and sound produced right up to expectations.

Spanning back to the 60's, the songlist includes hits from artists not usually associated with this musical style, such as Kylie Minogue, Depeche Mode, The Darkness, The Killers, Nickelback and The Scissor Sisters, mixed with our own approach to songs by great acoustic performers including Alanis Morrisette, Paul Weller, Joni Mitchell, James Blunt, Coldplay, Marc Bolan and KT Tunstall. Formed in 2005 the duo combine passionate vocals and an energetic acoustic guitar sound. They are equipped and able to provide full entertainment for your event, taking care of all the music, including the breaks if required.

The Singer
Performance has always been her love but music is her real passion. From a young age, she learnt classical piano which gave her a strong musical grounding and is where she first discovered her voice.
Having worked with Vocal Coach, Sarah Geary, for several years, she has been continually inspired by both her impressive wealth of experience and her teachings. As a part-time vocal tutor at Guildford's Academy of Contemporary Music (ACM), Sarah was also the one who encouraged her to undertake a performance course at the college, which is where she met and first worked with the guitarist.

The Guitarist
Originally from Manchester (red side of course!), like so many Mancunians he now lives in Guildford, Surrey. He grew up through the Glam Rock era of Bowie and Bolan, the Punk revolution of the Pistols, The Clash, and every other 3 chord rocking rebel, followed by the mod and ska revival, spawning such great bands as The Jam and The Pretenders. Like so many other teenagers of the era, he taught himself guitar, bought himself a Gibson Les Paul (copy!) and formed a band of angry young men (well more mildly irritated really!)

He played guitar and bass in several bands, ranging in style from New Wave Punk to Rockabilly, before shelving his axe in the attic, and with it any musical involvement, for more than a decade.
When he returned to playing it was to the more mellow sound of acoustic guitar, but was still influenced by and playing the favorite anthems of his past, which is now reflected in some of the choices in the duo's repertoire.

It was a desire to return to performing that led him to the ACM (Academy of Contemporary Music) in Guildford, which is where they met. The combination of acoustic guitar and vocals seemed to work, as did the mixture of musical tastes and styles shared by both, which led to them join together in 2005.
