Performing has always been the dream for The Vintage Singer, and she loves being able to say "this is my full time job!"
She studied Musical Theatre first at The Southern Theatre Arts Centre and then at The American Musical Theatre Academy in London. A degree that gives her the extra pizzazz in her performances today!
After college, The Vintage Singer joined a show teams aboard Aida Cruises. A real career highlight and where she found her (sea) legs! As one of the lead vocalists on board, in addition to the staged shows, she had to create a solo show and could think of nothing better than showcasing songs from a bygone era.
After returning to dry land, she decided to pursue the act further and firmly secured her place as a Wartime tribute singer across the UK. Fast forward several years and she have expanded her repertoire immensely, dedicating her career to the music from the 1920's & onwards, but always performing with her signature retro flare!
She has been lucky enough to sing at prestigious events & venues such as The Twinwood Festival, Mr Fogg's, aboard Saga Cruises and for The Venice Simplon Orient Express! Not to mention the gorgeous wedding venues to sing Bride's & Groom's down the aisle, amazing anniversaries & birthday parties and an abundance of corporate events!
THE ROARING TWENTIES: GATSBY & POSTMODERN JUKEBOX
The Vintage Singer covers the Twenties in every sense of the word! Get your 'Glad Rags' on and use those 'Gams' to get on down to the tunes of The Jazz Age. She was far more than we could have expected, her vintage outfit and amazing hairstyle really set the scene. She sang some real old favourites for our Guests.
