PRESS:
"How do you follow a super loud Led Zep act? With a tribute to wartime troops, sweetheart Vera Lynn, of course. After a patriotic introduction from a helmet-wearing ARP, the audience having been handed Union Jack flags on the way in after the interval, the scene was set for her to get all nostalgic with renditions of White Cliffs of Dover, then We’ll Meet Again. In truth, most audience members would only have a vague memory of what Vera Lynn actually looked like during WWII and this is a speciality tribute with characterisations rather than an accent on absolute accuracy. But, it works well enough to make you feel like digging for victory and breaking out some powdered egg, and it was privilege to be asked by the Agents Association to present this award to her and her team."

“I would like to thank the act for her performance, she was professional and is very good at what she does. Her performance helped create a good atmosphere for the event, she handled the audience well, which is hard to do in a military environment, we can be difficult to encourage to join in sometimes, which did not phase her at all.
