The Bristol Irish Band
The Bristol Irish Band are a 3-4 piece band playing a lively mix of traditional Irish and Celtic acoustic music along with the occasional folky arrangement of popular songs.
Established in 2004, The Bristol Irish Band has had an extensive career performing in a wide variety of venues. Highlights have included headline performances at the England v Ireland ODI Cricket, Bristol Harbour Festival, The International Balloon Fiesta, The SS Great Britain, MV Balmoral, Folkfest and the occasional whistle stop tour of Europe.
The Bristol Irish Band members are multi-instrumentalists performing fiddle, guitar, mandolin, slapbox and vocals.
Always bringing a professional, dynamic and entertaining performance, they are able to adapt to a wide variety of audiences and venues.
They guarantee an evening of classic Irish songs, foot stomping jigs & singalong ballads.

We booked the Bristol Irish band for our wedding reception party and what a great atmosphere they created.
As soon as they started playing it got everyone toe tapping and dancing along.
All our guests commented on what a great band they were and we were pleased with the party atmosphere they created for the two hours they played.
The band members also made us feel included with the banter in between the songs which also added to the experience.
We would highly recommend the band to anyone who wanted a lively party atmosphere for any occasion.

I had the pleasure of booking the band to perform at Yate Council's recent International Festival and I was blown away by their talent! Their music was lively and energetic, with traditional Irish tunes mixed in with some modern hits. The crowd was dancing and singing along the whole time. The band members were friendly and engaging with the audience, making for a fantastic atmosphere. I would highly recommend this band for any event or celebration. They truly know how to entertain a crowd and create a fun-filled atmosphere!

Hiring the band for our wedding on the Balmoral was the best decision we ever made! They brought the party to life and had everyone dancing the night away. The fiddle and mandolin players were phenomenal, and the singer’s voice was soulful and captivating.
They played a perfect mix of traditional and Irish music and some other covers that appealed to everyone. Our guests are still talking about how much fun they had and how amazing the band was. We couldn't have asked for a better wedding band and highly recommend them to anyone looking for a lively and entertaining experience!
