Mark Standon - Classical Guitarist
This classical guitarist graduated with a BA in Performing Arts from the Welsh College of Music, Cardiff, attended master classes with Neil Smith, Carlos Bonell and Julian Bream and graduated with a MA in composition and performance from Huddersfield University.
He is building up a reputation and following as a superb guitarist in the Northwest of England, also finding time to play at weddings and corporate functions.
Repertoire includes everything from earlier renaissance lute dances to popular Spanish guitar music, Gershwin, folk tunes and Flamenco. He is also a very good reader and is always happy to learn special requests provided enough notice is given.
