Looking for a UK based African band or African drummers for your event? This world music and dance group specialise in both contemporary and traditional African music, especially from East Africa. They provide entertainment and performance accompanied by a creative blend of live African and Western instruments.
The African Band performs for weddings, co-operate and charity events, concerts, carnivals, private parties, festivals and other occasions.
Their music, energetic dancing and colourful costumes will get both young and old dancing and clapping to a fusion of African rhythms, soca, khalimba, lingala, soukous, zomba and maybe the occasional drummer or storytelling act.
All performances are exclusively delivered in African languages and they promise to entertain your event in style.

The dancers and drummers were vibrant, colourful, energetic and amazing. They really livened up the office with the sounds of drums and the wonderful music selection of modern and traditional afro sounds. They really took us to Africa and it was an honour to have them perform at Culture Fest.

The band's performance was excellent - they looked great, did an excellent job with their drumming and dancing, the audience found it to be wonderful and moving.
The audience participation by getting people to sing and dance along was excellent, and it set a lively and engaging tone for the evening. We would be delighted to book or recommend them again to other organisations.
