The Bristol Pianist
The Bristol Jazz Pianist started playing the piano from the age of six, following in the footsteps of his father who was also a jazz pianist and songwriter. He specialises in providing elegant background music and can provide his own digital piano if required.
By the age of 18 he had taken on the role of musical director and accompanist for his sister Jane who was a vocalist, and together they appeared on numerous radio sessions for the BBC. At this time he was also writing arrangements for Jane's frequent sessions with the BBC Radio Orchestra at the Maida Vale Studios in London and the Midland Radio Orchestra under the baton of Norrie Paramor.
Since then, he has gone on to compose for and perform in a wide range of ventures from jazz and folk festivals, to theatrical productions and art installations.
His latest album is a work of original compositions that seamlessly weaves modern jazz elements into an ambient, cinematic underscore.
