The Tea Dance Ensemble - 1940's Wartime Band
This classic 1940's jazz band are available for Tea Dances, Wartime events, garden parties, weddings and any event when music from the 1930's, 1940's or 1950's is required.
The band recalls the days of Spitfires, the Blitz and Glenn Miller and have performed at many 1940's re-enactment events. They offer the perfect music for dance styles including the waltz, barn dances, jive, foxtrot, quickstep etc.
They can be booked with 5- 8 musicians, the line-up features saxophone, trumpet, piano, drums and bass. Additional saxophone, brass and vocalist are available to give the band a "Little Big Band" feel.
For events where budget is an issue they can cut the line-up down to a quartet or trio of saxophone, trumpet, piano (and drums).
