The guys performed for my father's funeral, The violin playing was jaw dropping beautiful as the coffin came into the church. After they went onto reception to lighten up mood with fantastic folk music and Irish music. really nice guys, super proactive and very reliable. You won't be disappointed.

We are so glad we booked the duo for the gathering after my father’s funeral. My father loved music, and played folk fiddle, so to have live music and fiddle playing really brought warmth and life to the party. The duo were very professional, arrived early to set up, and were ready to play as people arrived. By the end of the party, people were tapping their feet, singing along , with even some spontaneous dancing. They were happy to accommodate requests and covered a good range of songs. Thank you again for helping make this event special .

Funeral

The Derbyshire Irish duo played at my father's wake. The booking process was very smooth. They both provided a professional and friendly service. The music was wonderful, fantastic fiddle playing from Steve and a strong vocal. They gave my dad the 'send off' he would have loved. I would highly recommend for any occasion.

Funeral

The Derbyshire Irish Duo played at my fathers wake recently and their music truly was a tribute for a proud Irishman.The music they played was extremely fitting but made what could have been a solemn occasion, a time to smile. Communication from them was excellent from the first email and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them. As a side note, I was wondering if you could remember which song you were playing as people first came into the venue (I think It had Galway in the words / title). Quite a few people have asked me what it was called but we weren't there a that point. Thank you for everything.

They were fantastic. Everyone at our party thoroughly enjoyed their outstanding performance. They are excellent musicians and has a super voice for Irish songs, both soft and strong. One's fiddle playing was superb and complemented other's voice and guitar. They were happy to play requests from the audience and had a great interaction with the audience. We would definitely book them again as would most of the people present. As someone who goes to a lot of live music events, I was really impressed. Book them for a great night of entertainment, we all had a wonderful evening, thank you again...!
