The Sussex Blues Man specialises in country blues music, incorporating some more well known compositions, encompassed in the blues feeling.
He started playing guitar and writing songs as a teenager, continued to his early twenties, then moved into writing, poems and stories and spiritual studies.
The Sussex Blues Man returned to music twenty five years ago, developing his show by playing on the streets of London, then a short time in Paris and the South of France, picking up many gigs along the way at pubs, clubs and dance halls.
Expect songs by classic artists including John Lee Hooker, Muddy Waters, Robert Johnson and Mississippi Fred McDowell. Sets are usually broken up with additional songs by Hank Williams, The Rollin' Stones, Status Quo and many other artists. He is also able to make and improvise songs on the spot.
