The London Dixieland Jazz Band
The London Dixieland Jazz Band have toured the UK and abroad playing at clubs and festivals with many great bands.
From the outset the philosophy was that good music should be combined with good entertainment.
The musicians in the The London Dixieland Jazz Band should enjoy working together to make the many old tunes they play sound fresh and new.
The The London Dixieland Jazz Band repertoire is drawn largely from the small group jazz of the 20’s and 30’s with a few other interesting numbers from other eras thrown in to spice things up.
The London Dixieland Jazz Band have been building a reputation as a band that is not only a lot of fun to listen to but also great to dance to, bringing joy to clubs and festivals as far afield as Cornwall and Cumbria although most often seen in and around London.

The trio of banjo, clarinet and trombone were everything we hoped for and absolutely brilliant. They were punctual, played beautifully and were lovely to deal with, both on the day and communicating beforehand. They played all my dad’s favourite songs to such a high standard - pitching their act perfectly for the occasion. Fantastic! Thank you Graham and the guys!

What a fantastic group. We had a very diverse range of ages at our outdoor, BBQ on a really hot sunny day. They arrived with plenty of time to spare. From the moment they started, to the last number they had everyone captivated. Everyone toe tapping, some dancing, and the whole vibe was joyous. Everyone commented on how good they were and it being the perfect act for the day. They are lovely talented musicians, and would recommend them to anyone. (Gave 5 stars but they deserve more)

They were so upbeat, everyone loved the music and Graham and the band bent over backwards to make it a special night for us all.

I really am so grateful to you for giving us exactly what we had wanted for the occasion, in presentation, in the programme selection, and in the brilliant jazz you played. We had many, many favourable comments, including from guests who had gone outside for some of the time to talk in the sunshine, but who could hear and appreciate all the music from the patio. It was altogether a gloriously memorable day.
