Hiring a musician to play your wedding ceremony music is a beautiful way of enhancing your ceremony. We recommend having your musician play for 20-30 minutes to set the scene before the ceremony starts and as guests are taking their seats.
There are 3 moments for wedding ceremony music during the actual ceremony:
The Bridal Entrance
The Singing of the Register
The Recessional (exit)
Classic choices for wedding ceremony music include Harpists, String Quartets, Violinists, Singers, Guitarists and Pianists but this is your special day and anything is possible!
Once a booking is confirmed, we will always put you in direct contact with your performer so you can discuss your wedding ceremony music with them. If you have a specific piece of music that you would like in your ceremony, our musicians will try and learn it for you. If you are not sure what you want, they will be able to guide you in this.
Top Tip: If you are hiring a musician to play for your wedding ceremony, ask them how much extra it will be for them to stay and play during the drinks reception. It may not add much to the cost and will certainly be cheaper than hiring a different performer.
