The Dublin String Ensemble - String Quartet
This Dublin based string quartet is one of Ireland’s finest quartets and is available for weddings, receptions, functions and corporate events.
They provide a reliable, friendly and high class service, always aiming to meet your individual requirements to make your event memorable.
The members of our quartet perform regularly with RTE National Symphony Orchestra, RTE Concert Orchestra and the Orchestra of the National Concert Hall, and distinguished artists such as Luciano Pavarotti, Placido Domingo and Hayley Westenra. They are all graduates from Conservatoires throughout the UK and Ireland and are of the highest professional standard. They are also past members of the National Youth Orchestra of Ireland, Jeunesses Musicales World Orchestra, World Youth Orchestra and European Union Youth Orchestra.
This quartet strives in creating the perfect atmosphere for your wedding. They have years of experience, performing at numerous weddings all over Ireland and are happy to suggest appropriate music for your ceremony. For your reception, they can provide superb background music for the enjoyment of all your guests.
Their repertoire encompasses many styles from classical favourites to light jazz. If there is a piece you require that is not in their repertoire, it can be arranged at one month’s notice.
The quartet is also available for commercial broadcast and recording. Their musicians have performed at events such as the MTV European Music Awards, Meteor Awards, and the Late Late Show performing with artists such as Kanye West, Jamiroquai, Colm Wilkinson, Declan O’Rourke, Eimear Quinn, Sharon Shannon and The Hot House Flowers.
