The Strangers - Rock, Pop Covers Band
Catchy rhythms always get even the most reserved dancer up on their feet while the melodic harmonies are sure to add an extra touch of romance to the occasion. They are accustomed to providing DJ sets as well as live performances and are always happy to learn that special song for the first dance.
They play 50s - 00s covers in their own style - arranged to get your party going! They've opened for some of the UK's top signed acts, including Turin Brakes, Nizlopi, Dick Valentine (Electric Six), Duke Special, Fionn Regan, Teitur, Wheatus and Great Lake Swimmers. Last year they opened for Sandi Thom on her UK tour and appeared at two Bestival festivals alongside The Klaxons, Doves and Elbow.
More recently they were voted best unsigned band on XFM and won Best North East Band in The BT Battle of the Bands. They performed events for Newcastle Falcons Rugby Club and many companies, hotels and venues across the UK.
