The Scott Duo - Wedding Guitar Duo
This versatile guitar duo can play background music for your wedding, corporate event, party or bar/restaurant in London and the South East. They play a mixture of light classical music and jazz, they are fully self-sufficient and bring their own PA system.
You can book this duo for any occasion. For example, at a wedding ceremony the duo would play as your guests arrive. As the bride makes her entrance the duo could play the well loved Pachelbel`s Canon or Recuerdos de la Alhambra during the signing of the register and something uplifting as the wedding party depart such as Handel`s Arrival of the Queen of Sheba. Then for the reception they would lighten the mood with some cool jazz duets or, if you wish, be joined by their stunning female singer /flautist who really knows how to captivate an audience.
Both guitarists graduated from Trinity College of Music, London and have played together since 1993. They are both accomplished in classical and jazz guitar. Individually they have toured Japan and Russia, appeared on TV and radio, performed with the Malaysian Philharmonic Orchestra conducted by Carl Davis and recorded a well received CD. To keep the music fresh and interesting for the audience the duo use a variety of instruments; classical guitars, jazz guitars, mandolin and electric guitar.
