The London Irish Singer - Irish Singer / Guitarist
The London Irish Singer is a professional musician who specialises in well known Irish songs, performed on a guitar with vocals.
He is available for weddings, funerals, pubs and functions in the London area and beyond.
The London Irish Singer's solo work consists of guitar and vocals performing a wide range of Irish ballads and other styles. He does NOT use backing tracks. This is an ideal set up for small bars, clubs and functions. With this format he has performed all over Europe.
His live gigs began in the 1970’s, playing the circuit on what was then a thriving London Irish pub and club music scene and he's been singing and playing ever since.
As in the words of that great song by the legendary Irish songwriter Pete St John, (Rare old Times, Fields of Athenry, The Ferryman and many more) he was indeed raised on Irish songs and stories from early childhood.
The London Irish Singer developed a great love for the iconic songs and mesmerising sounds of The legendary original Dubliners and was captivated and mesmerised by the amazing voices of Luke Kelly and Ronnie Drew. and he still includes many of the songs they made their own, in my current day set lists.
Funerals
It’s a popular option with mourners to have that ‘special Irish song’ (or two) associated with the deceased, performed at the service. As well as performing solo he can also provide a duo option with a flautist, fiddle player. Uilleann piper, banjo player or accordionist at wakes after the service.

The London Irish Singer - Irish Singer / Guitarist Feedback
“He got our party off to a perfect start - he was a huge hit. Extremely professional and a great musician. Thank you very much!
”
“Seamus and his two colleagues on fiddle and banjo were the highlight of the evening for our event. All the guests loved the music, the choice of songs and the overall performance. It was everything I had hoped for and more.
He arrived in good time and was able to set up his equipment without delay, as were his colleagues. The group looked the part and were smartly dressed.
The communication with the act, once the booking had been confirmed, was good and no problems were encountered.
Many positive messages have been received from our guests on the night confirming how much they enjoyed the evening and the Irish music session, in particular.
I found the booking process quite easy and efficient and I look forward to using your services again.
Thank you.

“They were punctual, friendly, smartly presented and they set up very quickly.
They were absolutely top quality and enjoyed by all! The act asked my dad (the birthday boy) what his favourite songs were and he sang and played them beautifully.
He was great at getting all the crowd involved and played a good mix of songs.
I can’t thank them enough! We were kept entertained all from start to finish. We will definitely be booking them again in the future.
Thank you!!

Booking process was simple, any e-mails I sent were answered straight away, couldn't have been easier. Highly recommend both Find a Performer & Seamus O Brady.
