Ryan Jones - Classical Guitarist
This Classical Guitarist starting his training on the classical guitar at twenty two years of age, with the reputed Neil Smith, he went on to read music at Bath Spa University College. Specializing in performance and composition he graduated with an Honours degree. He studied under Tom Kerstens and James Woodrow.
He then went on to complete a Post Graduate Diploma specialising in performance at the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama, under John Mills and Eleftheria Kotzia. Through these establishments he has participated for Gary Ryan, Eric Roche, John Dearman, Tim Walker, Craig Ogden, David Leisner and Leo Brouwer in Master Classes. He attended the Cordoba Guitar Festival in Spain; tutored by Leo Brouwer he gained a Certificate in composition for the guitar.
He can be found playing recitals in Wales. He regularly performs in a flute guitar duo in the South West of England, a quintet, Latin jazz group and a classical guitar duo.
