Her journey with Taiko began in childhood, mastering the local performing art of Hatsuuma Taiko in Kawaguchi, Japan, and her passion for Taiko has taken her to over 25 countries and numerous cities worldwide, where she has captivated audiences with her dynamic and powerful performances.
After moving to the UK, she established herself as a Taiko artist. In 2001, she joined Joji Hirota and Taiko Drummers, contributing to their critically acclaimed album Japanese Taiko.
Known for her energetic stage presence, The London Japanese Taiko Drummer has collaborated with iconic artists, including Roger Taylor (Queen) at Wembley Stadium, Ludovico Einaudi at Italy's La Notte della Taranta, and Jah Wobble & The Nippon Dub Ensemble at Ronnie Scott’s and Glastonbury Festival. She also supportedThe Stranglers at the Royal Albert Hall in 2024.
