The Glasgow Cello and Guitar Duo are a very experienced string duo who have a wide variety of both classical music and modern covers. If you’re looking to add some sophistication your big day then look no further.
The Guitarist graduated from Edinburgh Napier University with a BA(hons) in popular music. Since then he has worked as a gigging guitarist and guitar teacher, performing at weddings and touring with various theatre shows.
The Cellist has many years experience working as a freelance performer and cello tutor and has performed as an ensemble member and soloist with several orchestras and has performed all over the world. He is also available as a solo cellist.
The Glasgow Cello and Guitar Duo have both spent many years performing at weddings with various different ensembles, and met whilst teaching at the same music school.
They have been performing at wedding all across Scotland and the UK ever since.
They aim to create a setlist with something for everyone. Mixing classical pieces with pop, songs from film and classic swing. Rest assured they will be able to create the perfect laid back sophisticated atmosphere to accompany your daytime celebrations!
