Paul Gregory - Concert Classical Guitarist

Wedding Ceremonies and concert bookings only.

This Sussex classical guitarist made his concert debut at the age of 16 and went on to study cello, composition and guitar.

Since his Wigmore Hall debut, he has played numerous London concerts in the Purcell Room, Queen Elizabeth Hall, The Barbican and for the BBC. In 1978, he won the prestigious Andres Segovia International Guitar Competition in Spain. Since then his recital and concerto work has taken him all over the world including Arts Council tours in Spain, Italy, Greece and Turkey - He also performed in North and South America, Asia and Hong Kong.

He has been invited to perform and teach at the Royal Academies in Dublin and Glasgow, Boston Conservatory, Nantes Conservatoire, Dartington and Denver Summer Schools, The State University of New York, The Cork School of Music and the International Guitar Festival of Great Britain.

He has always considered chamber music playing as a pinnacle of musical expression and has performed with many other artists including The Lontano Ensemble, cellist Rohan de Sarem, harpsichordist Sharon Gould, the Cummings String Trio and the American Soprano Camille Zamora.
He is available for concerts or for weddings/functions with a silent and respectful audience, (for example during a Ceremony or for a recital - not while guests are talking and eating!)

In 1978 he won the Andres Segovia International Guitar Competition and gained second prize in the Tarrega Competion, both in Spain. He has performed at all the major concert halls in London and has been broadcast many times by BBC Radio 3, including live recitals from Broadcasting House as part of the famous Lunchtime Concert Series. He has been invited to perform and teach in most parts of the world.
