The Oxfordshire Silhouette Artist
The Oxfordshire Silhouette Artist is a trained artist who sold his first portrait at the age of 14, completed his degree in graphic design from St Martins in 1990 and has been doing portraiture, silhouette cutting and caricatures of one sort or another ever since!
The Oxfordshire Silhouette Artist loves being part of the buzz of an event, and adores the reaction his lightning-fast freehand cut likenesses get.
"It's one of those art forms that very few people do, so it's nice to stand out from the crowd and create work that people can take home as a unique souvenir of a memorable night - I see my silhouette portraits as little parcels of pleasure!"
These unique artistic souvenirs can be created in next to no time, each person taking from three to five minutes depending on style required and detail. The finished silhouette is placed within a protective card mount so they are ready to frame and enjoy!

He was absolutely wonderful! He was super friendly and chatty before our ball, making sure he knew what was happening at the event. He arrived promptly and was straight to work! The guests loved his cheerful banter, relaxed persona and, most importantly, his amazing silhouettes! They worked perfectly at a Regency Ball and he put in those extra details of headwear and necklines which really added to his art. The silhouettes were a great size and beautifully presented, and he went that extra mile-making double copies, setting couples and cutting without pause. If you are looking for someone to add that 'little extra' sparkle to your event, I can't recommend him highly enough!

He was absolutely fantastic! He brought bags of enthusiasm, set himself up immediately and got straight to work photographing guests and making their silhouettes. He even stopped working to help bring the wedding cake over from the house to the main tent, across a gravel driveway and an open field. Not to mention that he finished off the remaining silhouettes for us after the event and even posted them to us to distribute amongst the guests that didn't get theirs on the day. 5/5 rating doesn't even come close - what a superstar!
