The Midlands Giddha Dancers are available to book for all types of events including weddings, Sangeet and Mehndi parties and Jaagos.
Giddha is performed only by women and is known for being the female counterpart of Bhangra. Just like Bhangra, the Giddha dance is paired with big celebrations like weddings, major festivals and social functions in Punjabi families. The colourful costumes, traditional folk songs, and rhythmic dance moves reflect the joy that these people experience during the celebrations.
The Midlands Giddha Dancers also take pride in wearing traditional costumes which is a huge part of the tradition of the Giddha dance.
