The Wedding Cellist
The Wedding Cellist graduated from Trinity College of Music in London, and has travelled throughout Europe, the Middle East, Russia and South Africa, performing extensively as a classical cellist.
She can perform on acoustic or electric cello, unaccompanied or with backing tracks.
In the UK, she has performed with the British Philharmonic Orchestra, recorded live on BBC Radio 3’s ‘In Tune,’ Jo Whiley’s BBC Radio 2 show and has made numerous appearances on BBC Radio 1’s Live Lounge.
Television work includes the X Factor, Britain's Got Talent and Strictly Come Dancing.
An experienced session musician, The Wedding Cellist has worked with many high profile acts such as Rudimental, Bastille and Kodaline and she has previously recorded the live strings for the X Factor UK Tour.

We cannot express how impressed we were after working with the cellist for our wedding in June! We had listened to all her recordings on the website, but hearing her play live surpassed all of our expectations. She did an absolutely wonderful job, keeping everyone entertained while our guests arrived. She then created the most beautiful ambiance for us during our walk down the aisle and exit from our ceremony! She was so easy to work with and so friendly, she was able to learn our song requests and commit them to memory in less than a week and sounded amazing! We would absolutely recommend her for any event large or small, she’s a brilliant musician and a pleasure to work with!

She was absolutely brilliant. Played a number of specific songs we wanted for our wedding ceremony and blew us away as well as our guests. Her contribution to our special day was enormous, moving literally everyone (including me to tears when I heard her warming up!) she was also really great to deal with in advance of the wedding- no hassle, adaptable and pragmatic. She recently played at our Devon winter wedding and from the initial contact with her, we were completely confident that she would create a beautiful and unique atmosphere with her music. It was brilliant to see her perform ahead of time through the online portfolio and she was so flexible and professional to discuss different pieces of music for the entrance of the bride, ceremony and reception. One of my favourite moments from the day was walking into the marquee full of family and friends to the sound of the cello playing and the wonderful vibe she created through it. The perfect balance between entertainment and background accompaniment for any event and her demeanour and kind presence just added to it all! Thank you!
