The Bristol Flamenco Guitarist is an experienced and professional flamenco guitarist and is available for your wedding or function. He is a thrilling flamenco performer fast developing a growing body of admirers.
Rooted in the flamenco tradition he brings a dynamic blend of jazz and classical influences. He composed and performed one of the themes for the BBC series "Waking the Dead" and his recordings have received great reviews.
Since visiting Grenada in 1984, The Bristol Flamenco Guitarist has been involved in learning, performing, composing and teaching flamenco. While flamenco has remained his principle focus in music, he is also a typical 20th Century/early 21st Century eclectic and has dipped his toes into folk, samba, Italian, Jewish and modern dance music.
In the late nineties, he completed a degree in music at Bath Spa University College, where he studied contemporary classical guitar and composition. He then continued these studies via an MA and currently teaches at Bath University as well as at various other institutions.
As well as performing solo, The Bristol Flamenco Guitarist is available with his flamenco group including bookings requiring a flamenco dancer.
