Looking for a Welsh folk singer for your wedding or special event?
A child growing up in North Wales is often given a very special gift, not only the beautiful and unique Welsh language but the musical and poetic traditions that come with it.
These traditions have been in this act's family for generations. From the famous poet Hedd Wyn at the turn of the 20th century to the incredibly talented singers on her mothers side in the generations since.
It was in the company of her Nain (grandmother), sat by the aga that she learned many of the songs she performs on stage today.
The Welsh Folk Singer & Guitarist has in fact been performing on stage since early childhood and is in her element in front of an audience, creating different atmospheres from one song to another. From the joy or heartbreak of love, to tales of adventure or tragedy, or a good old rowdy drinking song, she has them all in her repertoire.
It is her humour and ability to tell a story, transporting the audience to places past and present, that really set her aside from other folk singers.

Having also has been the lead singer of one of Wales' best known traditional folk bands since 2015, she plays festivals, concerts, pubs and private events as well as running folk music workshops for children and has toured extensively in the U.K. and Europe.
The Welsh Folk Singer & Guitarist is available to book as a solo artist but also has a number of other professional musicians she can call on when required. These include players of the Celtic harp, fiddle, bouzouki and additional vocalists to provide stunning harmonies. She sings and plays guitar, octave mandolin, bodhran and sings in Welsh or English.
