The Derbyshire Classical Guitarist - Classical Guitarist
The Derbyshire Classical Guitarist is available for weddings and functions. He is well known as a teacher and performer and has given numerous recitals including recorded and live broadcasts for BBC Radio. He is also celebrated as a composer and has had over thirty-five books of his compositions and arrangements published many of which have been performed and recorded by leading names in the world of classical guitar. For over 15 years he has written regularly for the international magazine Classical Guitar as a music reviewer.
The Derbyshire Classical Guitarist regularly performs at weddings and other private functions covering the whole of Derbyshire and the neighbouring counties.
In July 2007, he played the music at a prestigious event at Hampton Court Palace in London where he was invited along to provide the music at a fund-raising dinner held in aid of the Cliff Richard Tennis Foundation, an organisation whose mission is to take tennis direct to children in state primary schools.
Performing classical guitar solos firstly by the side of the Thames on the private lawns of Hampton Court Palace and then inside the exquisite banqueting hall, he played a large selection of music ranging from the Baroque era through to arrangements of popular songs in front of an audience consisting of many celebrities including Sir Cliff Richard, Tony and Cherie Blair, Gloria Hunniford, Cilla Black, Ken Roach and Daniel O?Donnell
