Celtic Whispers - Upbeat Irish Duo or Trio
The Celtic Whispers are well known around Ireland and will get everyone up and dancing! They can be hired as a duo or trio and can provide their own sound equipment.
The Celtic Whispers play a wide range of songs and ballads - mostly Irish folk and traditional ranging from The Dubliners, The Wolfe Tones & the Fureys to bands like The Cranberries.
Their favourite song is 'Grace' - simply because it tells the story of Grace Gifford who lost her love Joseph Mary Plunkett to Crown Forces during events in Kilmainham Jail after the Easter Rising. It depicts the true spirit of the Irish people in our opinion.
As well as playing at bars across Ireland, The Celtic Whispers have also toured in the US, playing at the Four Green Fields in Tampa Bay, the Ri, Ra in Washington DC and McGinley’s Golden Ace Inn in Indianapolis on St Patrick’s Day, where some 5000 people passed through its doors while they were playing.
The Celtic Whispers really know how to read a crowd and instinctively know what songs to play to get everyone in the mood for dancing and singing along!
They perform for 2 hours with a short break.
