The Hampshire Palm Court Trio - Piano, Cello & Violin Trio
The Hampshire Palm Court Trio (Piano, Cello & Violin) continue to entertain audiences at concerts, dinners, wedding receptions and private events around the southern counties of Hampshire, Surrey, Dorset, Berkshire, Sussex & London.
They can also offer a piano and violin duo option.
The Palm Court Trio perform a number of specially arranged pieces, delivering the perfect musical accompaniment to your special event. At one time all the Grand Hotels would have a resident Palm Court Trio or Salon Orchestra, usually performing during afternoon tea or dinner in the restaurant.
The Palm Court Orchestra, Trio or Salon Orchestra would also have been required to provide suitable repertoire for after dinner dancing: waltzes, foxtrots, two-steps and even the Charleston were among the favourites of Hotel residents.
The Palm Court Trio continues to perform nostalgic music with the addition of recent film tracks, music from the London Shows and well known classical favourites. They provide an electric portable keyboard for use at venues without a suitable piano.
Recent performances have taken place in many well loved historic venues, concert halls and stately homes within the southern counties of England. They also perform overseas and often available for short cruise ship tours.
As well as many concert performances and appearances in television documentaries, the Hampsahire Palm Court Trio can often be heard broadcast on BBC Radio 3.

“We all thoroughly enjoyed our Golden Wedding anniversary celebration held on board HMS Warrior. Everyone has commented on the choice of music and the expertise of the?Palm Court Trio. You played a huge part in making the event so enjoyable and the playing of the violin solo ?Gypsy Carnival? was admired by all. Please pass on our thanks to the musicians.
”
“May I thank you and particularly the Palm Court Trio?for?the wonderful entertainment you provided at our wedding reception?in Weymouth. We would not hesitate to recommend them in the future.
”
“Thank you so much to the Palm Court Trio?for making Leslie?s 50th birthday party so special with your music. We were delighted with your playing and our guests made lots of lovely comments.

“Thank you very much for the music at our daughter?s wedding ceremony and reception?last Saturday. It was excellent! My father particularly enjoyed the overture to ?Pirates of Penzance? as he was a member of a Savoyards group when he was younger. The choice and performance by the Palm Court Trio?were both superb. Fortunately, we only have one daughter, otherwise we?d look no further for music if we had another wedding day?to organise. We would have no hesitation in recommending?you to?others.
