The Dublin Uilleann Piper - Uilleann Piper

Looking for a professional Uilleann piper in the Dublin area or beyond? This All-Ireland and World Champion Piper has travelled extensively throughout Europe, North America and Canada, Japan Hong Kong and South Korea.

He hails from Ballina Co Mayo and has been living in Dublin since 1979 and is a member of Comhaltas Ceoltoiri Eireann and Na Piobairi Uilleann (Society of Uilleann Pipers).

The Uilleann Pipes are Ireland’s National instrument and were developed around the mid 1700’s. He has been playing the pipes since 1981 and is fortunate to have taken a series of master classes  from the renowned Uilleann piper Liam O’Flynn.

He is happy to take on events particularly in the Leinster area of Ireland but will consider events in all 32 counties of Ireland and abroad.

He has played at Aras an Uachtarain, and at the Dept of Foreign Affairs for the late Senator Ted Kennedy.
