The Suffolk Guitar & Cello Duo - Cello and guitar duo
The Suffolk Guitar & Cello Duo was formed in 2017 after performing regularly together in musical theatre groups and are available for weddings and events in East Anglia.
The combination of Cello and Classical Guitar is perhaps more unusual than the traditional string quartet, but the voices of both these instruments combine effectively and they lend themselves to performance in a range of musical styles - from Classical to Jazz, Pop to Spanish music - making The Suffolk Guitar & Cello Duo the perfect choice for something a little different at your event.
The cellist, following the completion of her training in classical music in London relocated to Suffolk and enjoys the diversity of performing in a range of styles and collaborating with other performers in live and recorded mediums. She performs regularly with the Prometheus Orchestra in concerts across Suffolk. She also loves musical theatre and playing in pit orchestras.
As a professional player for more than 20 years, the guitarist has played in almost every situation imaginable. From intimate solo shows to duo, trio and band performances in front of thousands at festivals, he has played almost every style of music in his career and has been featured on both local and national TV and radio stations. As an in demand player for musical theatre work, he can regularly be heard performing in theatres across the region and is extremely excited to be involved in this new project and playing in yet another new musical context.
