The South Wind - Traditional Irish Group Feedback

They were absolutely amazing totally made a vibe at our cocktail hour

Dillon Casey, The Eagle, (October 2024)

I am so glad that we booked The South Wind for our wedding ceremony and cocktail hour! The music was beautiful for our church ceremony, it completely set the mood. The upbeat jigs and reels really got the party started once the reception began. They were extremely talented - I can't say enough good things about them!

Megan S, Trinity College & The Grayson, (November 2022)

I could not fault the guys, 100% happy. Beautiful performance, talented musicians. A pleasure to deal with from start to finish. Guests loved them!

Eimear, Ballybeg House, Co Wicklow, Wedding (January 2022)

We would like to thank you for the beautiful music you have played at our wedding on the 5th of May at Coolcarrigan Church. You have created truly magical musical background and made our spiritual ceremony extra special! We cannot thank you enough for your professionalism, and the records you have gifted to us as a memory of our big day. It was pleasure to work with you and real enjoyment listening to you play. We will definitely recommend your services, and if there is a way we could write the review on your website, we would be honoured to. Sincerely

Tatyana and Vlad Fedotov, Coolcarrigan, Kildare, Ireland., Wedding (May, 2017)

The South Wind were absolutely fantastic and all of our guests were so complimentary of their music at the ceremony and afterwards at the reception. Beautiful music in the church and a great mix for the reception. They can play pretty much anything you ask for! I would highly recommend them to anyone. I'd also just like to say thanks so much for getting back to us so promptly and being so helpful. Its such a refreshing change to chasing people. Thanks for the stress free wedding planning!

Roisin & Andy, Wicklow, Ireland, , Wedding (August, 2017)

I just wanted to send you an e-mail to thank you for a wonderful performance at our wedding. Everyone commented that the music in the church was absolutely wonderful... and it really made the ceremony more special for Dave and I. We are both truly grateful to you for agreeing to play at such short notice. It was great to hear such great music being played outside and everyone thoroughly enjoyed it! Many thanks again to you all for making our day even more special!

Paul,

They played at our wedding in January 2008 both at the church and the drinks reception - and it was a pleasure to have them there! The music in the Church was both haunting and beautiful, and later on it really added to our drinks reception – my Gran sang all the way home! We had so many compliments on the music, and we found that all through the run up to the wedding they were a pleasure to deal with. We would recommend them without any hesitation. Fabulous!

David,

I just wanted to let you know how pleased Paul and I were with the music on our wedding day. Everyone said that the hour I was late passed so quickly due to the wonderful music that was playing, so thanks for keeping everyone entertained whilst they were waiting! A number of people also came up to me at the reception asking where on earth I found such wonderful musicians. So a big thanks from both of us for making our wedding day so special. We can’t recommend you enough.

Lynette,

We were absolutely delighted with the performance and in truth the music made the evening for us and our guests. A man & woman commented how great it was to hear traditional Irish music (and you even managed to get a few old timers to dance. No mean feat!). Please use our names as references on your website... we'd only be telling the truth when we'd say you were great.

Jean and David,
