The wedding saxophone player has graced the circuit by performances at many of the top London restaurants and jazz venues, including the Bulls Head, 100 Club on Oxford Street, Pizza Express & Ronnie Scotts Jazz Clubs in London’s West End and additionally at numerous weddings, corporate events and private parties.
His album was acclaimed by Dave Gelly of The Observer.... who noted ".... an attractive new voice on the tenor Saxophone. He is accompanied here by some of Britain's Finest Musicians.
Born in Dublin, he received his first saxophone from his father at an early age and by the late 80’s, he was playing at notable venues including London’s Mean Fiddler with Irish Rock band The Stunning. His move to the band ‘Celtic Posse’ saw him appear at the internationally renowned Montreaux Jazz Festival, Switzerland in 1995, followed by further tours. Musically, the strongest influences on him has been the great tenors Stan Getz, Lester Young and Dexter Gordon, ask about his quartet "Dexterritory" who play the music of Dexter Gordon exclusively.
His sound and choice of material veers between mainstream and Swing jazz, with Ballads, and blues; all essentially rendered towards the romantic and reflecting his classic looks and taste. He has played alongside luminaries such as Louis Stewart, John Pearce, Dave Green, John Critchinson, Jim Mullen and many more....
