The Howard Price Duo - Guitar, Vocals & Sax Duo
This great duo features a guitarist & singer, influenced by soul, swing, and jazz and an Italian saxophone player who has played with many top musicians. They are available for weddings and private events in the London area.
The Saxophonist was born in 1966 in Rome and became a successful session player, contributing to seven albums in 1992 alone, with leading Italian artists as well as featuring in several TV commercials (Invicta, BMW, TV Sorrisi e Canzoni, etc.) He also worked extensively in TV where he played with, among others, James Brown, Zucchero Fornaciari and Manu Katché. In the late 1990s he migrated to London, where he continued his musical activity performing and/or recording with Donna Summer, Jim Mullen, Harvie S, Pino Palladino, Trilok Gurtu, Kai Eckhardt, Dennis Rollins, Roberto Pla, Roland Perrin, Richard Bailey, Ernesto Simpson, Nicolas Meier, Jason Rebello, Ska Cubano, Jesus Cutiño, Omar Puente, Alejandro Sanz, Rumer, Max Carletti Carmel, Mario Biondi, Space UK, Dave Land, Adrian Reid, Maysa Leak, Sid Gauld and Francesco Mendolia (Incognito) and many others.
The Singer/Guitarist is influenced by soul, swing, and samba. He plays both his own compositions and a wide range of soul, jazz and latin classics. He has held residencies at great venues like China White, Dogstar, Lost Angel, Park Lane Hilton, Trafalgar Square Hilton, Eight Members Club, IoD Members Club, many of the Gaucho restaurants, Le Garrick, La Gondola, Le Bouchon, 3rd Base @ Mass, Citizen Smith, Mark Hix Oysterbar, Guoman Hotel Tower Bridge, Viva Viva, Revolution and The Conrad / Wyndham Grand.
He has entertained celebrities such as Seb Coe, Take That, Ken Livingstone, Boris Becker, the Chelsea first team and Jose Mourinho. He has played private art exhibitions for artists like Banksy and corporate events for blue-chip clients such as Audi and Microsoft.
