The Midlands Wedding Violinist - Solo Violinist

The Midlands Wedding Violinist studied at The Birmingham Conservatoire gaining an MA in 1997. Whilst studying she was awarded a place on the CBSO training scheme where she played in rehearsals with them for a year gaining much performing experience.

The Midlands Wedding Violinist has been performing at weddings and events with her string quartet since 2000 and has performed with Chris de Burgh several times as well as performing for the Mid Wales Opera, Ballet, Orchestra of the Swan and the Midland Voice Orchestra. She has also been leader of the Heart of England Singers, Moseley Operatic Society, Alcester Musical Theatre Company and The Astwood Bank Operatic Society amongst others.

The Midlands Wedding Violinist is now spending an increasing amount of time playing solo electric violin for events - her love of pop ballads, musicals and light jazz has inspired her to branch out into the electrical world playing on a "Violectra" which was made especially for her by David Bruce Johnson.
