The Hill Trio - Jazz Trio
This Jazz ensemble is led by a world class pianist who trained at Leeds College of Music and during his professional career has worked in all branches of the music industry.
He has been Musical Director for, amongst others, Stutz Bear Cats, Iris Williams, Vince Hill, Lulu and the late Frankie Vaughan. He has played on many film sessions ranging from Star Wars to Worzel Gummidge. He has also worked as Musical Director/Musical Associate/Arranger for the BBC and most of the country’s Independent Television Companies. TV credits include shows with Lena Horne, Howard Keel, Earth Kitt, John Denver, Brook Benton, and virtually all our home grown stars - Morecambe and Wise, the Two Ronnies and Cleo Laine to name a few.
Theatre credits include writing original music for the first national tour of The Magic Roundabout and directing the music for shows starring amongst others Dennis Quilley Marti Webb, Wayne Sleep, Bonny Langford, Danny La Rue, Brian Connolly, Julian Clary, Roy Hudd, and Frank Bruno.
He has played all the major West End hotels playing everything from Bar Mitzvahs to receptions for film premiers.
Currently, he is working with the legendary Buddy Grecco in an on-going series of concerts.
As with all Jazz Bands, the trio can be extended to form a larger band if required and can also feature a vocalist.
