Flamenco has had a massive influence in his life’s work and his current projects include a traditional flamenco show a lively Latin band.

He was born in Triana, and spent his childhood in “La Plaza de Chapina”. His flamenco roots come from his father, uncle and godfather who were all flamenco lovers. He used to listen to Chiquetete, Paco Taranto, El Lebrijano, El Aranero and many others when he was a child, but he considers that the flamenco´s soul is Naranjito de Triana´s music.

He started to study music-theory and percussion when he was 16, although his very first time on a stage was at the age of 6. “Azahar” was his first band, which as lyric writer and percussionist won him several awards when he was 16.

In 1994 he decided to try his luck in Canarias, carrying no luggage but his guitar and spent five years in this city, composing an album called “Muchos Besos” with the band “Vaya Tela" releasing an album in 2001.
