The Songstress - Solo acoustic singer/guitarist

Looking for a soulful and talented female vocalist and guitarist for your wedding or special event then look no further.

Acclaimed in the UK media from the tabloid pop pages to the teen press, from Curve Magazine to a brace of prestigious appearances on the BBC Radio 2 playlist, this performer is constantly looking to expand her musical horizons and her eclectic and infectious music is all the better for it.

After touring with Mike and The Mechanics, this performer was aptly dubbed as ‘Janis Joplin without the crack’. Her raw, honest rocky performances are a treat not to be missed. "We have fluffy pop princesses aplenty, so it’s about time we had a proper rock chick," cooed Star magazine of that first collection.

BBC Radio 2 moved to put her on the playlist not once but twice B listed, with her debut single and again with Elated. Press followed in the likes of the Daily Mirror, Daily Star, Music Week, NME and Curve Magazine, all of which helped her to land tour supports with artists like Roachford, Caro Emerald, Robbie Williams, Ollie Murs, Lisa Stansfield and Mike & The Mechanics playing at some of the best venues across the UK including The Royal Albert Hall, Birmingham Symphony Hall and Hammersmith Apollo.

She has also appeared at countless festivals and Pride events across Europe including, The Isle of Wight Festival, Manchester Pride, Beautiful Days and Copenhagen Pride but for her, the highlight of her career to date is having co-written with the late John Barry and being asked to record his last co-write with longtime collaborator Don Black.

But "rock chick" is just one of many musical roles this lady fills.  For a start, Crash & Burn was not just a press and radio favourite, it won a place in Billboard’s Dance Club Songs chart across the Atlantic, rubbing shoulders with the likes of Lady Gaga and Calvin Harris. That paved the way for those US visits, thanks to which half of her online fan base is now in the US. On repeat visits over the last few years LA and Nashville, she has worked with some extraordinary musicians, writers and producers, charmed countless industry executives and played at the Hard Rock Café in Hollywood, the legendary Viper Room on Sunset Strip, the iconic Bluebird Café & 2 Old Hippies in Nashville.

"Her  live shows range from a full band pumping energy to sensitive delightful acoustic sets. With a great mix of original material which has graced the national airwaves to inspired favourite covers like Jolene and Touch Me all done with the aplomb of her soaring vocals. In-between banter peppers the sets which keeps the audience engaged, smiling and thoughtful. So whether it is wedding entertainment or bespoke intimate moments you are after Scarlette and her merry wo/men have them firmly in her back pocket to get your party started or grace your occasion with touching tones." Diane Young, DAYtime Entertainment

We would like to thank you so much for performing at our wedding, we and our guests certainly enjoyed your set, there is nothing quite like a live band and we were so delighted to have you there. Congratulations again on your own recent marriage. We would love to updated with any public performances that you have coming up as we would love to see your again and we hope to see you at LFest. Thank you so much once again and kind regards

Sarah-Jane & Hayley,

Thank you so much you yet another incredible evening. I know that you are busy but we are looking to fill a couple of slots before Christmas in December (first and third weeks). Also booking first half of next year gig wise so may be an idea to hook up in the next week before we get mad busy with Christmas... CHEERS...
